Invesco Perpetual was the main sponsor of the Wales rugby team and the IP Autumn Series for four years in a row. Teams including New Zeland, Australia, South Africa, Tonga and Fiji would battle it out under the roof of the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff while televised internationally.
Invesco's logo is based Ama Dablam, a mountain in the Himalaya range of eastern Nepal. We used this as inspiration to create the campaign idea of Man Mountains - playing on the sheer scale and physicality of these professional ruby stars. This gave us the opportunity to create a graphic language that was big and bold but also play around with amazing statistics of the team's achievements and the player's physicality.
